Pathaxis builds a personalised learning path for you — from a single sentence describing your goal to a full curriculum with lessons, quizzes, and practice problems.

1. Create an account — sign up free, no credit card required.
2. Generate a roadmap — describe your career goal and skill level on the Roadmap page. Pathaxis will create a phased learning plan.
3. Start a course — click any roadmap topic to generate a full course. You can also go to the Dashboard and type any topic directly.
4. Learn, practise, quiz — work through lessons at your own pace using the three-tab interface on every course.

The Roadmap page turns a career goal into a structured, phased learning plan.

• Create a roadmap — enter your goal (e.g. "Data Analyst"), skill level, and hours per week. Pathaxis generates 3–5 phases, each with 2–5 focused topics.
• Track progress — topics move from Upcoming → In Progress → Completed as you finish courses.
• Launch a course — click any topic to generate (or resume) its full AI course and jump straight into learning.
• Multiple roadmaps — create separate roadmaps for different goals; switch between them any time.

Your personal learning hub. Everything you need to stay on track is in one place.

• Resume a course — the hero card shows your in-progress course and the next lesson to complete.
• Generate a course — type any topic (SQL window functions, React hooks, Excel pivot tables…) and Pathaxis builds a full course in seconds.
• Stats overview — see total courses, lessons completed, practice attempts, and your daily learning streak.
• Activity heatmap — 28-day view of your learning consistency.

Every course has three modes accessible via tabs at the top of the Learn page.

Lesson tab

• Rich markdown content with code examples, charts, and step-by-step walkthroughs.
• Progress is saved automatically. A confetti animation celebrates each lesson completed.
• Navigate between lessons using the sidebar or the prev / next buttons.

Quiz tab

• Multiple-choice questions generated from the lesson content.
• Instant feedback — see which answers are correct and why.
• Retake as many times as you like.

Practice tab

• Coding exercises tailored to the lesson topic (SQL, Python, JavaScript, and more).
• Run your code directly in the browser — no setup required.
• Reveals hints and the model solution after you attempt.

The Practice section is a standalone coding challenge workspace with community features.

• Multi-language editor — write solutions in SQL (PostgreSQL, DuckDB, MySQL, MSSQL), Python, R, or JavaScript. Switch languages without losing your work.
• In-browser execution — SQL and JavaScript run instantly in the browser. Python runs via a secure backend sandbox.
• Answer checking — submit your solution and compare its output against the expected result row-by-row.
• Community solutions — see how other learners solved the same problem, filtered by language. Upvote and reply to solutions.
• Hints system — unlock progressive hints without revealing the full answer.
• Pathaxis Tutor — an AI tutor is built into every problem. Ask it to explain the schema, debug your query, or nudge you toward the solution.

The Pathaxis Tutor is an AI assistant available throughout the platform. It has full context of what you are working on — the current lesson, quiz question, or practice problem — so you never have to explain the problem from scratch.

• During lessons — click the Tutor button to open the chat panel. Ask it to explain a concept differently, give a real-world example, or help you when you are stuck.
• During quizzes — ask for a hint or a full explanation of any answer choice.
• During practice — share your current query or code and ask for debugging help or a step-by-step hint. The tutor will not write the answer for you unless you ask directly.
• Quick actions — use the shortcut buttons ("Explain simpler", "More examples", "Give me a hint") to ask common questions in one tap.

Conversations reset when you start a new session or click the reset button in the tutor panel.

• Profile — update your display name, occupation, and avatar emoji from the Profile page.
• Theme — toggle between dark and light mode using the sun/moon icon in the top navigation bar.
• Password reset — use the "Forgot password?" link on the login screen. A reset link will be sent to your registered email.
