By accessing or using Pathaxis ("the Service"), operated by Pathaxis ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pathaxis. By registering, you represent that:

• You are at least 13 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher).
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• All information you provide during registration is accurate and current.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@pathaxis.io if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not share your account, use another user's account, or create accounts by automated means. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Pathaxis provides an AI-powered learning platform including:

• Personalised, AI-generated courses on data, software, and related topics.
• Interactive SQL and coding practice environments.
• AI-driven career roadmaps and tutoring.
• Progress tracking, streaks, and achievement features.

The Service is provided "as is" and may change over time. We do not guarantee that any specific feature will remain available indefinitely. We may add, modify, or remove features with reasonable notice.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service using automated means without our written consent.
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
• Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringing.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

Pathaxis uses large language models to generate educational content. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. It should not be relied upon as professional, legal, financial, or medical advice.

You retain ownership of any original content you submit (e.g. practice queries). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it to improve the Service.

All trademarks, logos, and content on Pathaxis — excluding user-submitted content — are the property of Pathaxis or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our intellectual property without prior written consent.

Certain features may require a paid subscription. All fees are stated in USD and are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in our refund policy. We may change pricing at any time with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PATHAXIS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS OR (B) USD $50.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
